Our life began on February 14, 2024, after being mutual friends who supported each other through hard times. Early in our friendship Michael was grieving the loss of his sister Gaynell Johnson and Dana was there to listen. We started talking every day and soon discovered how much we had in common, what began as friendship grew into something deeper. Not long after, Michael suffered another devastating loss when his grandson Amour passed away suddenly. Through that grief we stayed steady for one another, leaning on love and patience. Over time we realized we weren’t just partners in hardship; we had fallen in love. We found a soulmate and a friend in each other, and we can’t wait to celebrate our marriage on September 6, 2026 in Hamilton, New Jersey.
